We Have a Driveway!

The rain finally stopped and we’re back on track. Truthfully I loved the rain. We can use all that we can get this year, and it’s great to see my favorite Barton Creek swimming hole is still full. Scott wasn’t as happy about it, but it is helping keep the new landscaping happy.

Now that the driveway is poured we’re on track to complete our last series of inspections leading up to the building final. The buyer’s inspection was completed yesterday and went fine. There was only serious problem which was a GFI outlet that was not working properly. Congratulations to Scott and the Austin Rebuild Team for their consistently high quality of work.

Next step in the sale will be the appraisal,  but based on recent sales in the area I don’t expect to have any trouble. Professional photos are scheduled for Wednesday, so next week I’ll have some nice shots of the final product. Stay tuned.
